For 2 years, he was an external member of the Continuing Education Committee of the Regional Accounting Council of Santa Catarina (CRC-SC).
This Committee is mostly composed of representatives from external auditing firms.
He was Managing Partner at Matos Auditores Independentes, providing services in financial management, financial auditing, operational auditing, accounting auditing, asset auditing, compliance auditing, organizational process restructuring, and implementation of internal controls.
He has worked in the independent external auditing segment since January 1978 (Valério Matos S/C de Auditoria) in various sectors of the economy, such as: Asset Management, Associations, Banks, Insurance Brokers, Securities Brokers, Commerce, Condominiums, Consortia, Regional Councils, Civil Construction, Federations, Foundations, Industries, Mining, Public Agencies, Ports, Shopping Centers, Unions, Transportation, among others.

Graduated in Economics and Business Administration, he holds an MBA in Finance and Controllership.
Worked in international external auditing at Ernst & Young and in internal auditing as a manager and senior auditor.
Has experience in external consulting for international and national companies in the areas of Business Management and Financial Planning and Control.
Since 2005, he has been advising companies in Judicial Recovery.
Has managed the Controllership and Finance area in medium and large companies, such as Sul Fabril S/A, Grupo Ito S/A, Marksell Equipamentos Hidráulicos, Laurenti Equipamentos Industriais, among others.

Master in Commercial and Contract Law from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Spain
Specialist in Management from the Istituto Europeo di Design - IED/Barcelona, Spain - and in International Law and Business from the Federal University of Santa Catarina.
Bachelor of Law from the Federal University of Santa Catarina.
From 2014 to 2020, he was an associate professor at IED/Barcelona, Spain, teaching courses in "Negotiation," "International Negotiation," "Emerging Markets," and "International Marketing."
In the 2000s, he was a professor and later the administrative/financial director of an educational institution in the greater Florianópolis area.
In the 1990s, he worked as a lawyer for the leading meal voucher company in the State of Santa Catarina at the time, responsible for judicial recovery of credits for the firm, as well as administrative coordination of partner offices in the same state.

Master in Agricultural Economics from the University of Manitoba in Canada and graduated in Business Administration from the State University of Santa Catarina - UDESC.
She worked in the supply area at Souza Cruz (BAT - British American Tobacco) at the headquarters in Rio de Janeiro from 1988 to 1991, with responsibilities including the implementation of material systems and support to cigarette factories, among others.
From 1994 to 1997, she worked in the supply area at AMBEV in São Paulo, being responsible for purchasing malt, barley, and hops, and interacting with the company's major global suppliers.
